The first person that comes to mind when writing about someone who has helped my career goals is my Communication professor at Northern Virginia Community College. She is an extremely out-going and amiable woman. I took her Introduction to Communication course in 2007 and the way in which she taught the class made Communication very interesting. I decided to change my major to Communication because of her. She used to tell us very funny and descriptive stories about her job working as an editor for a Japanese car company.
The second person that comes to mind is my high school Spanish teacher, Ms. Cox. She really inspired me to continue pursuing Spanish after high school because like me, she is not a native speaker. She was a tough, but very interesting and helpful teacher.
The third person that comes to mind is my mom. She has inspired me to follow my career dreams. While I was growing up she always stressed to me how important it is to work hard in school. She has taught me that if I work hard, I can achieve anything.
